Suzanne Schilling
Suzanne has worked in the hospitality industry for 33 years. She was the owner and executive chef of Suzanne’s Cuisine, a catering company, for 30 years. Most recently, she has shared her knowledge with students at cooking schools in the Twin Cities.
In 1999, she was part of a delegation of women chefs including Barbara Tropp, Joyce Goldstein and Mary Sue Milliken that traveled to China to establish a chef’s exchange program. Suzanne has also discovered a passion for Mexican, Southwest, Tex Mex and Latin cooking. She has trained in Mexico with Dianna Kennedy in Zitacauro and Susana Trilling in Oaxaca.
Suzanne has been featured as a demonstration chef for All-Clad Cookware and has developed recipes for Jack Daniels. She has also been a guest speaker in the Culinary Arts program at Minneapolis TVI. A member of Women Chefs and Restaurateurs, Suzanne is a frequent guest chef on Kare11 Showcase Minnesota and 4 p.m. news.
