Kitchen Window's Centerpiece Steak
(Teppanyaki Style)

Ingredients
1 New York Strip steak, about 1” thick
Canola oil
1-2 tablespoons Brandy
2 tablespoons Raspberry jelly
1 tablespoon Terryaki sauce
2 tablespoons Cream
1 teaspoon Butter
Salt and Pepper to taste

Method
1. Preheat back half of a double cast iron griddle over high heat for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium.
2. Season steak with salt and pepper.
3. Lightly coat back half of griddle with canola oil
4. Place steak on back half of griddle. Sear until caramelized, 1-2 minutes.
5. Flip steak and caramelize other side, about 1-2 minutes.
6. While on the griddle, cut the steak in half lengthwise, then slice into about 12 pieces.
7. Quickly pour brandy over steak, it should ignite.
8. On the front half of the griddle, add remaining ingredients in order, one at a time, while mixing with your spatula.
9. Bring the steak into the sauce and coat.
10. Place steak on a plate. Serve with sautéed vegetables.
